Saskatchewan Chicken Industry Investment Fund (SCIIF)

Purpose of the Investment Fund

The MOU specifies that the purpose of the SCIIF is to make available a sum of money to be used for direct investment in the Saskatchewan chicken industry. The principal requirement for any project to be considered by SCIIF is that it must contribute to the growth and/or survival of the chicken industry in Saskatchewan. The expectation is that the fund will invest primarily in projects that involve primary processing or further value added processing.
